Welcome to Sandown Isle of Wight - Seaside holidays, short breaks, shopping, eating out, business and the community
Welcome to Sandown Isle of Wight
Sandown is on the south east coast of the beautiful Isle of Wight and is home to miles of golden sandy beaches making it the ideal destination for families, foodies, walkers, cyclists and beach dwellers alike. The beach at Sandown stretches from the cliffs at Culver and Yaverland beach right the way through to the neighbouring town of Shanklin. Below is the view from the Culver end of the bay lookng towards Sandown.
This area is known as Sandown bay and must be one of the best beaches in the UK. In fact that's not just our view, Conde Nast Traveller recently named Sandown as one of its top UK beaches, especially for swimming.
Sandown-Bay.co.uk is a new website, produced with help from organisations & businesses from all over the Sandown area, and we hope you are able to find everything you need to enjoy your first visit to Sandown, nearby Lake and Brading, or something surprising and new if you are returning or lucky enough to live here on the Isle of Wight.
